Yogurt Drink Recipe

Scorching heat, sweating and rashes are not the only things associated with summer. The season has its own pluses too and one of them is our increased inclination towards having soothing & refreshing drinks. With that is perspective, let me present or introduce to you the recipe of a drink which is very common and highly in-demand during summer in our part of the globe, i.e. Yogurt Drink or "Lassi" as it’s called in the Indian sub-continent, especially Pakistan & India. Preparation time is less than 5 minutes with most commonly available ingredients and rest assured, it has all the 'beat the heat' characteristics in it.

So here’s how it is done.


Yogurt                    Half Kg

Milk                        Half Cup

Sugar                     3 Table Spoons (or according to taste)

Salt                        1 Pinch

Crushed Ice             as per requirement

Put yogurt and milk in a blender. Blend it for about 20 – 30 seconds. This will greatly reduce yogurt’s thickness. When done, add sugar, salt and crushed ice in the blender as well and blend again for about 30 – 45 seconds and that’s it. See the end result below and enjoy your drink !!!
